One thing which is annoying in these tropical countries, is or are.. the mosquitos.
Fortunately there was always a little nice warm breeze. As I was sleeping in the living room with the entry door coming in that room I would leave the door a little bit opened so the wind could come in and I would be free of mosquitos. It would also act as a nice natural fan as there was no air conditioning.
